Let the natural sunlight fill your SteelMaster building by adding skylights to your structure. Our skylights are specially designed with a flat bottom, v-shaped corrugation that matches the steel panels of your building. Light will shine into your building at three different angles, which disperses the light three times better than a conventional flat panels skylight.

Reduced Discoloration
SteelMaster’s skylight panels have pigmented ultra-violet inhibitors added to the resin in order to reduce discoloration of the panels over time.
Weather Resistant
Our skylights are thick and deeply corrugated fiberglass panels. They have incredible resistance to high winds, small flying debris, and dangerous hail.
Skylight Options
Skylights are available in 12 and 16 ounce weights. Building owners are advised to install one skylight per 10 foot of building.

The product looks great, and as I am still in planning process, I HATE being pressured into speaking with a Corporate Rep. before I am ready to, don't want phone calling and texting but am forced to have to give all my info and then am swamped by sales reps trying to contact me. I cannot even look at what you have on clearance without being bothered to death by sales contact people. And this is the sole reason I am likely to buy elsewhere.

My SteelMaster 12Wx12Lx11H "S" model quonset hut arrived on time and the truck driver that delivered the pallets helped my son offload it and get it back to the construction site when my son got stuck on an incline. Throughout the order-to-delivery process, all went smooth and my expectations were greatly surpassed.
My concrete contractor had questions on the blueprints which were quickly resolved by your engineering team. Many thanks to such a great company including the warehouse and contract transportation services!

Update: Since posting my original review, SteelMaster’s team, including the national sales director, has been consistently professional and responsive. They took my complaint seriously, asked for the details, and focused on fixing the experience instead of arguing about it. After that, they supported my evaluation process exactly the way a customer expects: clear answers, patience with my questions, and help comparing options so I can decide what is right for my project.
I’m not writing this to “walk back” what happened on the first call. I’m writing it because the follow up has been strong enough to change my perspective about how the company operates when an issue is escalated. As a business owner, I value how a company responds when something goes wrong, and in my case they handled it the right way.

I had a scheduled sales call today at 10:00 AM about a Quonset-style building kit. Early in the call the representative asked my budget. I explained I’m exploring more cost-effective options and don’t have a specific budget number yet because I’m comparing systems. He replied: “Oh, so you must have all the financial resources in the world for this project.”
After that comment, I told him we should end the call because I found it arrogant and disrespectful. He tried to justify it by saying that usually people have a budget. I replied that I had no issue with the budget question, only with the way he responded to my answer. I ended the call.
At this point I have no opinion about the product because the tone of the call made it impossible to get to a real discussion. I do have an opinion about how this interaction was handled.

Bought a building to store my tractor and trailer. I’m very pleased with the quality of the building and the support provided for getting it assembled. Also, the delivery truck driver was very helpful and accommodating. I had to assemble the building on my own and was able to do so by building a wood frame that allowed me to assemble one 2’ wide section at a time. It allowed me to assemble the building at my own pace. I’m very pleased with the final product.

They are selling buildings. So I encountered a selling machine. But in this machine, I found active thoughtful humans. Drew stayed after me in sales for months until I got the value and discount I wanted. They gave extra services. Elizabeth was my after sales point of contact. I expected to get dropped. They are still in contact. Further, their architectural drawings were accurate. Their steel gauges are higher than others. Who knows if it’s true or not but Drew would claim to talk to the owner and then come back with a better deal in negotiation. At least good negotiators if not actually talking to the owner.

Love the shed. It isn’t hard to assemble, but it does require 3 or more people. My account rep, Ashley has been great to work with. She has been very responsive and helpful. One thing everyone needs to pencil out is what you get for your money. I looked at other Rv covers and for the price they list is frame and roof. Then if you want walls , end walls , engineered drawings and etc it’s all extras. With SteelMasters it’s one package and I liked that. More updates when building arrives.

My experiance at Steel Masters was excellent. Noah knew the answer immediately to every question we had. We were able to text with him so he could send us specs and pictures right away. He also sent some step by step construction pictures. We live on an island and he worked with us to figure out delivery to the ferry. Our transaction was done electronically which made it so easy. It was also more than half off! I'd recommend them if you are looking at a steel structure of any kind. We can't wait to get our building.

The purchase was easy. They gave a lot of information, including blueprints for the building and suggested way to put together, tie down and concrete slab blueprints. Just be carful if you receive your building after business hours or on a weekend, you must pay with check. The driver doesn’t have a way to run a credit/debit card and there is a fee if you do.

Steel Master sent me literature and after discussion with Sales people, bought a larger XA building. Building arrived on three pallets, one rather heavy but unloading went fine. As a builder we cleared site and poured footing from the certified plans provided. Building was erected by a steel erection crew and we finished slush in of base.
All in all Steel Master folks were very responsive and I would definitely recommend them and their buildings!

We bought the Quonset hut several years ago. It took FOREVER to figure out how to assemble it. Thankfully we had some family members help us even though none of us knew what we were doing. There are absolutely NO directions for putting these together. When my husband decided that he wanted the end walls, I was extremely upset! I knew we would have the same issues! Now 2 yrs later we still have no end walls up. We are both retired and are not inexperienced with building and constructing things. We have gotten no help from this company. When we asked for some directions, all we received were schematics. These are NOT directions! This is not new for this company. We have spoken to several people and all have had the same experience. I would NEVER endorse this company!! This was not an inexpensive endeavor and I feel like I’ve been robbed!!

Had fun assembling Quonset hut. My brother, his wife and my wife and I put it together in a day. Following instructions is important. Lengths of angle iron supplied helped space sections as we built. I milled my own lumber to build the end walls. I had leftover wood and metal for end wall siding.
I’m very pleased with the whole project. I just wish I could have afforded longer building.
I use it as winter storage and shop.

We ordered a complete 28' by 40' ft. steel building (Model X28-16) with industrial base connector base. It was certainly a challenge since we had only 3 people, myself and my wife and her sister and a 25 ft. capable gas scissor lift which was essential since the building is 18ft high in the middle. We put up 8ft straight sides and then assembled the whole middle and raised it with the scissor lift and bolted to the two sides repeating 20 times. It certainly was a challenge but resulted in a beautiful building with sliding doors in the front.

Bought a 32x38 model A building. Went together amazing. Built all the sections first. With 2 guys on each side and a guy on the scissor lift setting the section in place at the top the bolts lined up perfectly.

I have had my steel master building since 2021. The structure and build are solid and I have never experienced any problems with leaks. Now Im converting the structure from storage to living space and SteelMaster was able to provide me with all the engineering to apply for my permits. Their customer service was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My unit is located in the high desert and is exposed to extreme weather, wind and temperatures and I can see it is built to withstand anything Mother Nature throws at it. Highly recommended for any storage or living needs.

So far, all communication with SteelMaster has been great, responsive to many questions about the unit itself, the foundation required, specs etc. Gordon is your guy, he's very knowledgeable about the product he's selling and he takes the time to help you understand their process. I recently moved to Georgia and have stuff in the driveway covered with a tarp. It'd be great to get delivery before the end of August. Will update with pictures once assembled.

It was a very easy decision to buy from SteelMaster Buildings. We originally contacted them by email and we were sent several links to explore the types of buildings as well as a list of buildings that were on clearance.

We are now at the point of receiving the blueprints for our project. So far everyone we have been in contact with at, SteelMaster, has been competent, helpful, friendly and supportive. Giving us a high degree of confidence in the company that we have chosen for our quonset hut storage shed. Only after ordering, and seeing examples of projects in our area, did we realize that we knew of other buildings nearby, Joshua Tree, that were manufactured by SteelMaster. Confirming for us that we are working with a company’s product that we want to use when we build our new home on our 160 acres in the Pioneertown area. Currently preparing the foundation, looking forward to taking delivery of, and assembling, our new quonset hut, storage shed.

Great experience overall. They communicate well and often, you know what’s going on with every step of the process, and the price was quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend. I went with a 20 Wide 14 long Q model for a hunting cabin and it’ll be perfect, might even end up going with the insulation package from them as well.

I must say that everything has gone very well. I bought the building the end on November and I was notified today that it looks like it will be at my location by the 10th of January.
My sales rep Gordon did a great job finding me a great deal on a building even larger than I was hoping for. I was able to get the base plates for half of the original quote so I have to say thanks to Travis for working g with the owner to get a price we could both agree to.

The customer service was phenomenal.
Definitely do your research before making your purchase to ensure that you are getting the best fit.

I ordered a 40' by 52' Q model and it was shipped on the date promised. The delivery driver was very accommodating, helping me unstack part of the arches due to the pallet being too heavy, thank you! I referenced every YouTube video on the assembly and got some good pointers. First off, very impressed by the quality, fit and consistency of the panels, definitely a well designed system. I got a scissor lift as this seemed the best way to get this job done. Like everyone says, the first 3 arches are challenging, especially when you're doing it alone. After the first 3 arches were standing I did the rest of the assembly one panel at a time. I've heard from other comments that the instructions are vague but I rarely look to instructions anyway, just did a visual inventory of what I had in front of me and figured it out. About 1/3rd of the way through, I realized I only received about 1/2 of the bolts I needed so I called the salesman who I originally bought the building from, and he said no problem, I had 2 extra buckets of bolts ups shipped in 6 days. There is the upsell phonecall after the sale of the building, giving you options of industrial base plates, insulation, end walls and other accessories but I had my own plans for everything, I just wanted the building shell and went with the key way slab as per the design provided. 3 weeks of work and I couldn't be happier with my building! By the way, this is going to be a Barndominium, 1/3 home (2 story, 2 bed 2 bath 1230sqft) and the rest garage/shop. I highly recommend the SteelMaster arch system based on my experience.

Customer service ladies were very pleasant and helpful. My project is maybe unusual, in that I have an old barn and was in search of 2 replacement panels. The original manufacturer is defunct. So, I called your company and two of your competitors. Only you guys had any interest in helping me. Tara provided a cross section drawing with measurements, and that helped me determine that your panels would work. My SteelMaster Buildings experience was A+ all the way. I was advised by Noah, and he was totally supportive at every step, from buying to building. I decided on a 24' x 24' x 12' high building with end walls.
When my city held up my building permit for nitpicky reasons, Noah and SteelMaster Buildings went to bat for me and had their engineers contact my city and get the problems ironed out.
I had done my reading, and I knew the delivery date and time of the truck that was delivering my parts and I knew I had to unload the truck myself. That went smoothly and was unloaded in about 15 minutes.
I checked over the parts, and I was missing 3 washers. I informed Noah the same day as delivery and he made sure to get them for me before I began construction.
After reading the construction manual several times, watching some videos and reading other's building tips, I began construction. I rented a scissors lift to make erection easier and I never had more than 3 people helping, most times it was 2 people.
I made sure to check the height after each arch, and jacked up each arch with a small bottle jack. Construction went smooth, and everything went up easily and aligning all the bolt holes was not bad.
When we had the arches constructed and went to insert the remaining bolts, 95% of the holes lined up so well that all we had to do was to drop the bolts in the holes.
We have had some really hard thunderstorms this summer, and after the first storm I noticed a leak, more of a drip really. I tracked it down to one single bolt that we had failed to tighten. I tightened up that bolt and since have had absolutely no drips or leaks.
Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my SteelMaster Buildings experience!

Steelmaster was excellent to work with, Barrett and Matt made the process very simple and got me exactly the kit that I wanted. The shipping was fast, Jason the truck driver was excellent; he had great communication with his ETA, great backing skills, and was friendly. The kit was fun and enjoyable to put together, having previous experience from doing a Quonset about 15 years really helped, plus the fact of having cordless tools now (which weren’t popular/ were very expensive back then) made the process much easier. Once you get the first few arches up the building gets quite stiff and you can walk away from the project until you have time or bad weather improves, then with every bolt after that you can feel how strong it becomes. Very strong design and good metal. The building should last many many years, I wouldn’t be surprised if it outlives me. Thank you SteelMaster!
